Im the black sheep of the family and im trying so hard to improve, to change but it seems like only perfection is accepted. I pray for hearts to be softened and for my mental and emotional energy to be strengthened- amen

People can get themselves into difficulties trying to meet the expectations of others. It might be easier to work on allowing God to improve you by walking by his Spirit instead of the flesh. If this does not meet the expectation of others, they may have to change their expectations.

I often wonder if these posts are heartfelt or written just to start a topic. I hate social media. It is a horrible way to be a community where all you have are words to guage a person’a authenticity. And there are so many catfish. We truly live in an age of illusion, delusion, and lies.
With that said, I welcome black sheep. I love black sheep. I find them to be the most authentic of all sheep.
There is a difference between putting up a front of perfection and living the truth Christ has called us to walk in. With black sheep, you know they aren’t pretending. And that is the real reason they are cast away from othrr sheep. The darkness cannot stand the truth. And those in darkness hate authenticity. They embrace the lie and the darkness, choosing to live in ignorance outside of God’s Kingdom
LOVE is all encompassing, it never fails us. And those who know LOVE, the Holy Spirit, and Christ who embodied it in every way, will never turn you away. You may walk away, but God never stops looking for you.
Only LOVE can fulfill the Law, to LOVE God and to LOVE your neighbor as you LOVE yourself. And only LOVE can help you to accept yourself, and others, flaws and all. We all fall short in some way. (And I captilize all the letters of love to differentiate the kind of LOVE God has for us as revealed through Christ and all other loves.)
Our calling is to heal the Divide that seperates us from family, community, and the world. More importantly, to heal this Divide between God and Creation. One person, one dominion , one kingdom at a time. And we do this through LOVE, not judgement. Our tools are Kindness, Patience, Peace, Forgiveness, Grace, Mercy, Humility, and so on. Valuing the lives of others as if they were our own.
Many claim to be of Christ but are not. They forsake LOVE, and choose to do evil, to judge others and cast out the sinner. But God LOVEs these diamonds in the rough. He uses them, those stones rejected by the archetects and the builders of this world, in order to build His Temple, and an everlasting Kingdom. Remember that.
Christ became as sin in order to save us from its hold. And he died so that sin would die with Him. And by God’s LOVE, returned to us so we would never be alone in our struggle.
Sin is that which destroys life. Lies, Vengence, Spite, Malice, Greed, Vice, Pride are its tools and traits. Anything that causes division, damnation, destruction. Death. No life can live there, no joy can be found there. It drains vitality and sets you apart to be alone and seperated from God, and all Creation.
LOVE is the only path to Eternal Life.
Stop focussing on your sins and failures and trying to fix yourself by your own wisdom. The more you look at it the more it will bind you.
Instead, focus on Living in that LOVE, and you will begin to find your life will change for the better. Trust me. It will transform you. We move in the direction we focus on. So focus on where you want to go. Change your heart, and you will change your world.
