The Chosen is very popular among some Christian’s, and vilified by others. Your thoughts?
At first, I appreciated the storytelling. However, as time went on and I started hearing others talk about it, I discovered that the common person who may not be as knowledgeable biblically was taking what was presented as Bible truth when so much of it was a bit of “artistic liberty.”

I agree. I am a historian by trade, and a few things were cringeworthy. I noticed that some people take it word for word as truth, putting it in the category of “Left Behind” - where so many based their beliefs on a series of fictional books.
But it is a good drama.
Yes it is good drama based on Jesus but should be viewed by mature Christians or those willing to do the work to compare it to the Word.

I agree with both of you. but I also watched a few discussions on it and found there are some Mormons and a couple gay people involved in the main story. I wont watch it anymore because I don’t want some Mormon doctrine sneaking itself in.
