Grandparents Day is coming up on Sept. 13th (Sunday), and it got me reflecting on what a blessing involved Christian grandparents are. I grew up with seven grandparents! Only one is still living, but to this day she is one of my biggest cheerleaders and one of my favorite people in the world. It’s such a comfort knowing she prays for me and my family.
Did you grow up with involved grandparents or are you a grandparent? What ways have you found to connect with your grandkids even if you don’t live nearby?
My kids now have two sets of grandparents who are involved, but unfortunately live far away. I definitely miss the support and encouragement and relationship of having them closer.
