Don’t confuse the place with the people. The place we call Israel may not be the same. But the people living there, who are the descendants of Israel,. (Remember God changed Jacob’s name to Israel ) Those people comprise the “Children of Israel.”

Often, the Evangelicals are the greatest supporters of Israel and for the most part, they have nothing but love in their hearts for Israel and Jews. Many even believe in the dual covenant concept, meaning that Jews have an eternal covenant through Avraham and those under the NT have that covenant.
However, there are still those who chase us through stores trying to give us a copy of Gideon×™s Bible, and there are those who want all of the Jews to catch the next El-Al flight to Israel to bring about the end of times prophecies.
