The Powerful Phrase "He Is Risen!"

How many of you exchange the Easter morning greeting,

“He is risen!”
“He is risen indeed!”?

This exultant Resurrection Sunday greeting has been a staple of every Christian church I’ve attended, from Catholic to evangelical to everything in between.

It comes, of course, from Matt. 28:6, where the angel tells the women who came to Jesus’ tomb: “He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”

This is a pivotal moment in Scripture and would change the course of history and of our own hearts and destinies.

What does this phrase mean to you? Do you proclaim it every Easter? I can’t wait to share it with others this upcoming Easter morning.
