Time change coming up (fall back):

Daylight Saving Time ends soon. Do you use the extra hour for sleep, prayer, or something fun? Any tips for keeping Sunday rhythms steady when the clocks shift?

You are correct! It is right around the corner!! Daylight Savings Time ends on Sunday, November 2, 2025. I usually start with prayer and quiet time…it helps reset more than sleep ever could. Anyone else feel like the shift throws off your Sunday morning routine more than you’d expect?

Ah yes! Good reminder. And those with little ones know time changes are extra difficult, whether the clocks are moving ahead or going back an hour.

For this time change in fall I try to lean into the cozy vibes of the season and the approaching winter. I love the comforting rhythms of making soup or a hot cup of tea and maybe watching a family movie or reading together.

Most of all, I try to remember to have grace with myself and my family for the week or so following the time change as we adjust to these new rhythms.
