A beautiful prayer, that resonates within me. At times people conflate scripture with ‘the Word’ of God and you’ll see and hear folks pointing to their Bible and referring to it as God’s Word. They do similarly with the idea of ‘a quiet time’ and conflate that with what is sometimes called “devotions” - reading and studying God’s Word. While all that is fine and good, a quiet time can be just what it sounds like it is. A time to set aside all the noise, and music and even that good book, to focus on seeking the still small voice of God. How He speaks to us in spirit, when we listen.
