Good morning, and Happy Wednesday everyone. ![]()
I was thinking about each of you this morning, and I want to speak directly to something that I believe is sitting quietly in the heart of someone here today.
You have been waiting a long time.
Not just waiting for something to happen. Waiting for confirmation. Waiting for clarity. Waiting for the thing you have been believing God for to finally show up. And the waiting has been longer than you expected, harder than you prepared for, and quieter than you are comfortable with.
And in that quiet, doubt has tried to move in.
Not the loud kind of doubt that announces itself. The subtle kind. The kind that sounds like wisdom. The kind that whispers — maybe you heard God wrong. Maybe you should just be realistic. Maybe it is time to let that dream go.
I want you to hear me this morning.
Do not negotiate with that voice.
Because here is what the waiting season actually is — it is not punishment. It is not God being slow. It is not a sign that you are forgotten or that your faith is not strong enough.
The waiting season is where character is built that the blessing cannot exist without.
Think about Abraham. God promised him a son and then made him wait decades. Not to be cruel. But because the faith required to steward that promise had to be developed first. The promise did not change. The preparation was just deeper than Abraham expected.
Think about David. Anointed as king as a teenager. Did not sit on the throne until he was thirty. Years of caves, betrayal, warfare, and wilderness in between. And every single one of those years was building the man who could carry the crown.
“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” — Isaiah 40:31
Notice the Scripture does not say those who wait will feel great about waiting. It says those who wait will be renewed. There is a strength that only comes out of the waiting that cannot be manufactured any other way.
So if you are in the middle of a long wait this morning — you are not stuck. You are being prepared. You are not forgotten. You are being formed. And what God is building in you right now is going to be the very foundation that holds up everything He is about to bring to you.
Hold on. Stay faithful. Stay expectant.
Your season is coming. And when it arrives, you will look back at this very Wednesday morning and understand exactly why the wait was worth it.
You are loved, you are seen, and you are right on time. ![]()

Thank you for this thoughtful post.
The part about waiting not meaning we are forgotten really stood out to me. I also really liked the perspective that the waiting season may actually be preparing us for what comes next, rather than simply being “empty time.”
Sometimes silence can feel discouraging, but this was a very encouraging reminder that growth and preparation can still be happening during those seasons.
Thank you for taking the time to share it. ![]()
That is great to hear. Stay strong my friend. You got this!!
You are very welcome. Thank you for your perspective as well. It is truly appreciated.
I constantly say this to myself and others that it is all in God’s timing and that if it’s God’s will that “HIS WILL” will be Done. The uncertainty and doubts cause us to be anxious and worry. However, he only requires us to have a mustard seed of faith to believe in him. He never leave us or forsaken us. He keep his promises. Yet, we fret and worry and become anxous. He is never late, but always on time. He is an on time God. We just need to trust God’s Timing.
