Turmoil in Mexico:CJNG leader's death sparks widespread violence

Heard about the news in Mexico with the CJNG leader’s death

?? No have not heard about it.??

@paulhinkle The CJNG, or Jalisco New Generation Cartel, is a powerful Mexican criminal organization founded by Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, aka “El Mencho”, until his death in February 2026. They’re known for extreme violence, public relations campaigns, and controlling large parts of Mexico’s drug trafficking, especially marijuana, cocaine, and synthetic drugs.

The CJNG has expanded rapidly since 2009, using violence to control communities, politicians, and other organizations. They’ve been involved in high-profile attacks, including targeting Mexico’s president and other officials. The cartel’s activities have led to thousands of civilian deaths and significant instability in Mexico.

El Mencho’s death has sparked widespread violence and retaliation across Mexico, with blockades, shootings, and attacks on civilian infrastructure

I did not hear this either. Thanks for sharing @Kensikelly. Sadly, evil and violence are only going to increase as we get closer.

thank you for sharing this with me

Hence the rightful designation as a Terrorist Orginazation by Trump. Don’t be suprised if the U.S. eventually goes in to “clean it out” (in exchange for land?!) because I wouldn’t be.

@PeterC

Glad you found it useful. As Christians, we shouldn’t be surprised, the Bible warns us about the increase of wickedness and violence in the end times (Matthew 24:6-7).let’s pray for peace and protection for those affected by this violence

@paulhinkle Glad you found it useful

Amen. It should also never come as a surprise that worldly people do worldly things. Carnally minded people will do carnally minded things. I do agree, Jesus told us this, so we understand why all this is increasing.

Amen. Remember, God said he was going to shorten these days for our sake, not the world. The world’s fate is sealed.

“God will shorten the days for the elect’s sake” Matthew 24:22

Thank God we will not be alone in the darkest times of human history.
