Understand the Mark of the Beast

Hey everyone, I have done some studies that some might find enlightening concerning Revelation 13’s mark of the beast, that is, the name and number of the beast. As many of us know, the name of the beast adds up to the number 666. Many have speculated what it means and have come up with a variety of names. Up front, it is the false messiah once he receives dominion over the kingdoms of the earth. Let’s take a look.

Many believe 666 is derived from the value of a name using a Greek numerology method called isopsophy. When transliterated from Hebrew to Greek, the word moshiac (messiah) is spelled messias. The value comes to 656. But it is 10 digits short of the value 666. That can be resolved using a different numerological system where numbers are added in sequence. 1+2+3+4=10.

In Daniel 7, the prophet saw four beasts rising out of the great sea. After the fourth beast, Daniel saw 10 horns. What the prophet was saying was that the ten horns represent all four kingdoms combined into one global superpower. This interpretation is confirmed in Revelation 17:12-13, which states that the ten horns would give their power over to the beast for one hour. When this occurs, 10 is added 656 to equal 666.

This is the earliest sign of the false messiah. Jesus Christ stated that His kingdom is not of this world. So we know the false messiah seeks to rule the entire world. Knowing that the last half of Daniel 9:27’s seventieth seven is contingent on a high priest ruling from the temple, we can see that the false messiah will claim the role of high priest. With the progress made by the Temple Institute, the time is drawing closer every day.

I hope this was enlightening!

Here is how the mark of the beast should be understood.

First of all, there was never a number 666. When the original Hebrew text was written, John saw Arabic writing that said “Bis Malla” and translated means “in the name of Allah”. The Arabic language did not exist when John was alive, so the Greeks translated into what it looked like to them, which was numbers. The original Hebrew text is available online and it never had Greek numbers that added up to 666.

John saw that the people who followed the beast system wore a headband with Arabic words saying “there is no God but Allah” . There’s a group of people still doing this today, we know them as Muslims or followers of Allah.

Islam followers are expecting their messiah the way we Christian’s are expecting ours. Their messiah will be called Mahdi but he will be our Antichrist. When we see groups like Hamas, Hezbollah or Isis, wearing a headband, this headband blasphemes God by saying there is no God but Allah. Remember, revelation tells us that the people who take the mark of the beast will have it on the forehead or hand. We have been seeing this on our TV for a long time now.

What historical evidence is there for the claim that John actually saw Arabic words rather than a number? I’d be interested in seeing the source for that.
