Vision shapes reality; make life the way you want it

This phrase reflects the idea that our thoughts and visions can shape our reality. It is similar in meaning to concepts presented in various philosophical and psychological teachings, such as the law of attraction, positive thinking, and self-actualization. Similar ideas can be found in the works of authors like Napoleon Hill, Eckhart Tolle, and many others, who emphasize the importance of mindset and visualization in achieving goals.

In general, why did I create this topic? Because many people in this chat don’t really believe that God can do everything: fix your life and the lives of your families, solve your problems. But that’s not how it works with God; it doesn’t work that way. When problems arise, you remember God, but at other times, you don’t need Him. Please understand, it’s like with a friend, and even more: you would give your life for a friend. Those are the kinds of relationships. What I wrote above is simply that you can think and visualize with your positive thoughts what you truly desire. Everything depends on you.

Of course, a baby cannot be given a bucket of water; he simply cannot lift it and will not drink that much. Our task, as Christians, is to explain that for Christians who know little and find it difficult to understand Scripture, we strive to help with God’s assistance. Amen!

Sure. Think and Grow Rich, right?

Name it and claim it… in Jesus name, Amen.

Do you know who got rich? Napoleon Hill.

Napoleon Hill is the most famous conman you’ve probably never heard of. Born into poverty in rural Virginia at the end of the 19th century, Hill went on to write one of the most successful self-help books of the 20th century: Think and Grow Rich . In fact, he helped invent the genre. But it’s the untold story of Hill’s fraudulent business practices, tawdry sex life, and membership in a New York cult that makes him so fascinating.

I am doing something in this life, and arguments are unnecessary for me — just a waste of time. If you want to refute something, that is your right, but I am doing everything I can to help people find God in some way. Amen.

That’s great @Farid I applaud the effort. But that doesn’t change the fact that scammers like Napoleon Hill and modern day prosperity teachers create cult-like followings of the gullible and greedy.

The big idea in both: The material universe is governed quite directly by our thoughts. If you simply visualize what you want out of life, those things and more will be delivered to you. Especially if those things involve money.

I understand you very well; you, esteemed person, take everything literally, and that is incorrect. Understand that you do not need to understand how a clock works; you only need to look at the time as if it were a painting. You need to contemplate this painting, not think about how it was created and with what!

“Okay, are you from America?”

No. I’m not from America.

And you are free to peddle “the Secret” (Law of Attraction) if you want.

I’m just not a buyer. Have a good day @Farid

If you’re from there, then you should know how it became America well! Do you know a state called Utah? And the history of the Mormons? Well, it’s a very fine line. If misunderstood and misinterpreted, it can lead to fanaticism and a very bad situation. There’s no need to delve into the workings of clocks; there are other directions that rewrite Scripture, and ordinary people fall into traps, as it is written: “You will know them by their fruits.”

In Russia, there are many people who mislead others, and many have suffered, including numerous families with children. It is a very delicate matter. For those who know little, they are like small children, and we must be very delicate with them, as God Himself is watching us. Do you understand why I use examples from life? It’s only to make it clear to them in simple language. If I speak from Scripture, many will not understand, and they will find it boring to listen!

I agree with the idea that what we focus on shapes our lives and our world. I have experienced it for myself.

I don’t see it as a get rich quick loophole though.

It goes more with this idea that we are co creators with God. The religious may sound off on that one. But it is true. We create the world we live in from one moment to the next.

The thing we focus on, we bring more of it into our lives. If we magnify hate, hate will grow. If we magnify love, love will grow. And they will bare fruit.

But people often misunderstand the principle. They focus on what they don’t have. Instead of what they want to grow. If you want the apple, you have to plant the tree.

If you chase after money, then you project it outside of yourself. You are basically saying to existance, I have no inherent worth, no riches within me. And that is what you create for yourself. No riches. And the focus on lack creates a much bigger deficit.

But if you focus on abundance and give God thanks for the riches you have been given, if you give to others and share from all that you have, if you focus on being satiafied with all you have been given- then you are actually focussing on riches. And from these riches will grow more riches as you magnify in on it.

You cannot grow from your lack. You have to plant the tree that you want to grow and nourish it.

If you want love in life, focus on being a loving and kind person. And be grateful for the loved ones you have. Magnify love.

And so on.

This touches upon another principle about the world. We have to seperate real from illusion. Attraction is chemical. Two bodies drawn together in lust will grow apart when the lusty dust settles. But if you grow in love together you create a bond that cannot be broken. Love is eternal.

Money is not real. It is printed paper that matters because we say it matters. Without us, it is just paper. Worthless, except to write on. And again, worthless without us. Though if a goat is present, could be food. Even gold has no inherent worth.

But love allows kingdoms to rise and prosper. Wisdom guides us toward better lives. They are more valuable than paper. Certainly more valuable than gold.

The rules we set create a prison we must abide by. Unless we decide to change or forsake the rules.

Change your perspective, change your focus, play with the rubix cube, and you change your world. But if you get the world around you to agree, you can change the whole world.

It’s mostly nonsense. Sure-- you can work toward a goal, but the key is the work part. Nothing is accomplished by merely thinking about something. You don’t become something you are not, by concentrating.

Your apple analogy is a good example. You want an apple? Plant a tree.

You don’t “manifest” an apple by imagining one. You don’t magically turn into a car by sleeping in a garage each night, nor become a Christian by sitting in a church each week.

Action, not warm fuzzy thoughts.

I am happy for everything I have, for everything that God has given me. You know, I mean not material wealth, but spiritual wealth, and I am happy. Of course, money is necessary in this world, just like salt is for a dish, in moderation. There are rich people who are unhappy, and there are those who have nothing, but they are much richer, believe me. This is not about that, but about what you have received from God, and you should share it with others who, of course, are in need. We will all account to God. Amen!

why do you always sound like you need a muscle relaxer? Or a stool softener?

Every garden needs tending. The work is implied.

It is a principle- that what you look at you move toward. Simple, precise.

Do you want to talk about atoms and what reality is? Tell me, what goal are you pursuing? I’m not here to argue with anyone or prove anything. I believe I have expressed my thoughts and ideas, and I don’t intend to compete with anyone. If you want to do something, then go ahead, and that’s great, thank God! But being a Pharisee is not for me, sorry!

The world doesn’t need money. You could build an eonomy based on kindness and the world would be a better place. Pay the highest wages to those who best serve the world. The Bible lays the blue print for this. Doctors, Teachers, Social Workers, Therapists, nonprofit organizations.

If we placed worth on what matters, the world would be a better place.

Why do you always sound like you are smoking weed? Oh— Nevermind.

I simply don’t buy your kum-ba-ya fairy ring fantasies for life.

But you do you.

And you do you. Whatever you are.

Alright, my friend! Tell me how to change everything that is happening on Earth, how to change people’s thinking and their society. Share what we can do as Christians in this world that belongs to evil. Come on, my friend! After all, I am just one of the Christians who is doing something for the glory of God!
