Father God,
Lift up the head of my husband. I place his heart in your hands. Open his eyes to see you, and renew the right spirit within him causing him to seek you with a repentive heart. I pray that you would heal what is broken within him and give him the mind and spirit to stop chasing the world and only chase you. You are our redeemer! You alone have the power to heal, restore, and make new for Your honor, glory, and our good. It is written that two become one flesh and that no man can separate what you have joined together. I bind the works of satin operating in my husband’s life. Bridge the gap between us and fill it with Your love. In the matchless name of Jesus. Amen

Let’s pray:
Father,
Marriage is difficult, some more than others. God, we desire a close relationship with our spouse because it mirrors our ultimate need for You in our lives. We need You more than anything and anyone in this life, though it is so tempting to put our marriages before You. When they falter and fail, it feels as though life has failed us. God, help us maintain the proper perspective, always putting You first. I bring Romans39’s prayer request to You today, God, asking You to put a preventive heart in her husband and restore their marriage. God, we pray for Your timing and will in this situation and ask for clarity and understanding. We pray for forgiveness and reconciliation, for love and peace to reign.
