In Christianity it is an act of compassion and of love for Jesus.
4/ Islam regards Jesus as only a propher, it takes all references to Jesus’s coming as being references to Mohamed.

Christianity teaches that one cannot earn ones salvation, rather it is recieved as a gift from God.
The differences between Islam and Christianity are far greater than any superficially similarities.
Islam spread and still spreads through violence.
Christianity spreads through individuals coming to faith.
