I have been so encouraged by a sermon series on Philippians. There are so many well-known verses in this short book, verses like “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Phil. 4:8) or “Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right” (Phil. 4:8) that I’ve found it easy to gloss over them. I’ve heard them so many times. But this sermon series has brought new revelation to these beloved verses. I’ve found myself thinking about these lessons outside of Sunday service and bringing them with me throughout the week.
