Currently, I’m reading “Imaginary Friend” by Stephen Chbosky.
Generally, I’ve really gotten into autobiographies. Ones I’ve read recently are by Peter Frampton, Elton John, Matthew McConaughey, Jennette McCurdy, Sally Fields, Mick Fleetwood, Jimmy Webb, Danny Trejo…I could go on.
How was the Sally Fields book?
Disappointing. Let’s just say that she thought a little too highly of herself.
I just read a book called The Genealogical Adam and Eve, by Joshua Swamidass. -a good look at human ancestry.
I read Swamidass a couple of years ago. Very interesting.
Currently reading How the Book of Mormon Came to Pass: The Second Greatest Show On Earth by Lars Nielsen - a scholary, dense unmasking of the Book of Mormon that makes clear Joseph Smith had little to do with it.
Just finished Beyond “Origin”: A Post-Darwinian Design Theory by Jerome Bridges, likewise somewhat heavy going but well worthwhile.
Have the latest biography of Johnny Carson on pre-order at Amazon.
I am reading “A Gentleman in Moscow”. I started it after seeing the excellent series on cable TV.
I am also reading “Anna and the King of Siam”. I started reading it after seeing the film “Anna and the King”, which told a whole different story than “The King and I” musical.

I have “Anna and the King of Siam” in paperback; read it years ago (due for a re-read but I’ve got a pile of new books & little time).
A book so nice, you’re reading it twice.
Up next is the new Bob Woodward book. WAR for nonfiction
Fiction: reread of East of Eden by Steinbeck
It is SO different than the movie and the musical. I can’t believe the depth of her writing.
