The verse from Revelation 21:4 paints a beautiful picture of the future promise God has given us: “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” This assurance of eternal comfort provides hope in the midst of our earthly struggles and pain, reminding us that one day all trials will be replaced with everlasting peace and joy in God’s presence.
When life gets tough, what are some Bible verses you turn to for comfort and hope?
When I find myself facing difficult times, I often turn to (Psalm 34:18), which reminds me that “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” It brings me such comfort to know that God is near, especially when I feel overwhelmed.
Another verse that resonates deeply with me is (Isaiah 41:10), where God promises, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God.” In those moments of uncertainty, these words reassure me that I am never alone and that there is hope awaiting me, even in my struggles.
I’ve found myself repeating Philippians 4:13 to myself a lot: “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.”
So many circumstances feel so overwhelming and I feel inadequate to handle them. And that’s why I have to constantly remind myself of this verse. I can’t, but He can!
