Sin, being a sinner and the terrifying consequence of being a sinner. Because society laughs at a Holy God, mock his mercy and reject the idea that they are answerable to him.
I think holiness is the most misunderstood biblical quality. To be set apart, different, peculiar. In this world but! Not of this world. That requires a total mind, body and soul change (Becoming a new creature). Be ye Holy (set apart) because I AM Holy (set apart). We are trying to serve two masters, the world and I AM. All of the other qualities listed become who you are when you become Holy (set apart) We display a form of Godliness, showing some humility, meekness until confronted, contentment when we have acquired much but very little wisdom. The real power comes when we become humble, meek, content, holy and seek wisdom. Because at that point, it is no longer we who live, but Christ who lives within us. Few will find this.
