I’ve always wondered this. Did God create Canada to be a “Test bunny” to warn Americans about the affects of secularism? If so that dosen’t seem fair for God to put millions of souls in danger to show another nation a lesson.
So what does God think of Canada? In a way it seems cleaner and more civilized than the US. But all that glitters is not gold. Sodom was the best place to live in Canaan yet it was the most evil as well.
What do you think of this? Should Christians even consider living in Canada? Should we pray for Revival for them and not just Americans?
Last thing to add, do you think God made their hockey team loose because their country produced the gay show Heated Rivalry? I heard it was a popular show among their team. Interesting thought. (Also, this is weird, but do you think it would be ok to write a fanfic where the two main players repent of their sins and become Godly men who marry women?)
I’m Canadian, so I feel I can answer your post. I have to wonder where you get your news that is forming your opinions?
Canada used to be a Christian country, but like the USA we’ve drifted far from our roots. It used to be that immigrants were expected to assimilate with the population, but now they set up their own camp. So we are a diverse people of many faiths and persuasions. I see the same thing in America. All this has taken place in the last 50 years. I couldn’t tell you whether its better to live here or there. I think it depends on which part of the country you live in. I’ve travelled most of Canada and there are differences between east and west, but not greatly so. I think the USA is more divided. I think that from my travels, but also from the people I know on each coast.
I’ve never heard of the show you mentioned since I don’t have cable. Gay TV is in every country. I think what you’re pointing out about Canada is prominent all over. I can’t name one country that hasn’t fallen badly into a sinful state.
Canada seems liberal. Liberals boast of tolerance and opened mindedness yet I hear Canada is arresting people for preaching the gospel on the street. If thats true. Where is the tolerance? And im apolitical. I dont choose sides. I think all politicians lead the church astray
I don’t know where that came from. A main intersection near me has Christians sharing the gospel with passerby’s every week and sometimes more. No one is every arrested. And yet I’ve heard the same story of the USA where those who pray outside of abortion clinics are arrested. So what’s true?
Im not sure if people are arrested for praying outside abortion clinics but if thats true then its most likely done in a liberal state and city. Liberals in America dont seem to show others the tolerance that they demand for themselves. In my opinion.
