I try to pray that chapter every morning. I usually do! I did today already. From what I understand, the disciples used to pray scripture to God, and God loves us to pray His own words to Him. So I do. In Psalm 91 I also when I pray it, I change it up a little bit by inserting “I” or “Me” in certain places to personalize it. For example: (I put in Parenthisis () what I insert, and what I take out is between <> arrows.
Psalm 91: 2-7
**2 **I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
**3 **Surely he shall deliver (Me) from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
**4 **He shall cover (me) with his feathers, and under his wings (shall I) trust: his truth shall be (My) shield and buckler.
**5 (I will) <**Thou shalt> not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
**6 **Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

Except I do that thru all 16 verses. But that doesn’t answer your question, lol. I try to cooperate with my Guardian Angels. WHen I fist moved in where I’m at, I walked the perimeter of the property and posted my Angels on all four corners of the property and asked them to protect me in all direction for as far as they can see! I did that at my place in Colorado right before I moved here and had posted Angels front yard back yard, and I remembered that in the front I posted the Angel out to the curb in the grass right close to but not in the street. I felt comfortable. So what happens? My wife’s brother came over and was visiting a day or two and parked out at the curb. Well one of his enemey’s spotted his truck sitting there and set it on fire! My BIL’s truck was a total loss…and I felt bad because it was my house it happened at and somehow I should have been able to stop it from happening. I thought I was covered but with the Angels, but I had posted him on top of the curb and protect my property from here to the back. But he parked his truck just past where I told the Angel to be, 10" away! DANGIT! So this place I remembered that and asked the Angels to protect me as far away as they can see trouble coming, so they wont even get close.
When I was driving from Colorado to Ohio, I prayed and asked for protection on my long drive and not have any breakdowns or anything bad, and at they moment I prayed that, I saw in my minds eye a blue, almost like a cage appear around my truck while driving, and I didn’t know where that image came from, but I realized that had to be God answering my prayer and showing me briefly that I was under protection. I felt a lot better about the trip then, because I had not a lot of money and an old truck and so when I believed God had put a hedge around me, the peace from God flooded over me…and I went on my merry way. With no problems on that trip! Praise the Lord!
