What Part of Your Faith Once Felt Difficult but Now Feels Natural?

Sometimes something that once took real effort like praying regularly, forgiving, trusting God, reading Scripture, serving others can eventually become a more natural part of our lives.

Is there something in your walk with God that used to be difficult for you but has become easier over time? What helped make the difference?

Daily Bible Reading & Devotions: Moving from seeing Bible reading as a rigid, guilt-driven item on a checklist (“I have to do my 15 minutes today”) to viewing it as a genuine craving or lifeline (“I want to hear from God”).

I got up earlier, something about the peace of the dawn, and moving away from rigid one-year cover-to-cover plans to deep meditation on single passages. This goes along with Prayer. Transitioning from formal, performative, or transactional prayer to an ongoing, unscripted conversation with God throughout the day (practicing the presence of God). Realizing God isn’t looking for King James English or polished theology, but raw honesty, and learning to spend as much time listening as talking.

Be blessed,

Peter

Serving God with joy.

It’s far too easy to be the lout with a pout on his snout!

Full submission. We as people like to call ourselves having faith and being faithful to God but yet we so often unknowingly aren’t fully submitting ourselves to The Lord by going off our strength and understanding. Our worship and faithfulness to God compared to what Christianity was built on is something we all need help from God on. Jesus told Peter 3 times you will deny me. Peter said even if I die with you I won’t deny you. He had faith. Yet in still 3 times he denied Christ

Singing hymns in church once felt awkward (even though I’m a musician). Now, after years of fellowship I sing in the choir and perform solos.
