From new jobs to major moves to unexpected loss—life often turns in ways we didn’t plan. Even when the change is welcome, it can stir fear and uncertainty. How do we know God is leading and not just our own emotions?

This prayerful reflection by Laura Bailey reminds us that change doesn’t mean God is absent. Just as He led the Israelites through the unknown wilderness with His blessing in Numbers 6:24–26, He promises us His protection and peace too. God doesn’t just open doors—He walks through them with us.

“Whether you thrive on change or fear it, you can find comfort in God’s promise to walk with you.”

What’s one time you knew God was guiding you—even when the path was unfamiliar?
How do you discern the difference between God’s leading and your own desires?

Often the only thing to do is go.
One can protest and struggle against some events, other one can only go with the flow.
With planned changes one can meditate, pray, seek advice etc and knock on doors, with events controlled by others one has litle choice but to trust God.

Hi,

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. KJV

Some time you just don’t know which road to take.
You just have to take a leap of faith, and pray that it is blessed.
So pick the path you are the most passionate about, and make the leap.
I believe God honors the leap.
I also believe that the passion we have comes from God.

Blessings
