The Lord’s Prayer has comforted generations, but different lines speak louder at different times. For many, “Give us this day our daily bread” is especially powerful in seasons of uncertainty and surrender. Which part of the prayer is most meaningful to you right now—and how is God using it in your life? #LordsPrayer#DailyBread#FaithInPractice#christianforums#crosswalkforums#forums#crosswalk#faithcommunity#faithforums
The Lord’s Prayer is one of the most quoted passages in Scripture—many of us can say it by heart. But I’ve found different parts hit harder at different times in life.
One of the Bible verses I read today during my devotion time was actually another prayer of Jesus for his followers:
I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. - John 17:15
The Lord’s Prayer speaks to my heart every time I read it. But lately the first couple of verses have spoken deeply to my heart because we need to have respect for the Name of Jesus, and we need to have more revelaiton of the power that’s in Jesus name when we speak in His name, when we pray in His name, when we bind the wickedness in hgh places, when we command the Father’s blessings on one another and when we lay hands on the sick or send His Word by faith to heal, deliver, and set free in Jesus name.
I’ve been praying for God’s perfect Will to be done in me and in this earthly realm as it is in heaven and not just me but for everyone that’s believing HIM.
“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be thy name
Your kingdom come,
your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
