The Bible is filled with people who asked God sincere, difficult, and sometimes even bold questions.

The Bible is filled with people who asked God sincere, difficult, and sometimes even bold questions.
Which person’s question stands out to you the most, and why?
The question that comes to mind is the one the disciples asked Him just before He ascended into the sky. It’s found in Acts 1.
"Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?”
Jesus didn’t give them an answer. He doesn’t answer all of our questions, but gives all that we need. The question tells me how little they understood and what their expectation was. That’s something that could be said for all of us.
Joh 18:38 Pilate said to him, “What is truth?” After he had said this, he went back outside to the Jews and told them, “I find no guilt in him.
With his reply “What is truth?” Pilate dismissed the matter. It is not clear what Pilate’s attitude was at this point, as in 18:33. He may have been sarcastic, or perhaps somewhat reflective. The author has not given enough information in the narrative to be sure. Within the narrative, Pilate’s question serves to make the reader reflect on what truth is, and that answer (in the narrative) has already been given (14:6).
Didn’t even wait for a reply.
