What promise of God do you hold onto when you’re going through a trial or tough situation? Here’s a list of many of them:
For me it’s Romans 8:38-39 which talks about nothing being able to separate us from Christ’s love:
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
I think it should have an exclamation at the end!

and obeys his servant?
If you are walking in darkness,
without a ray of light,
trust in the Lord
and rely on your God”. (Isaiah. 50:10)
Can a believer be walking in total darkness even though they are being faithful and believing? Yes–read the above verses. God may be testing you and trying to strengthen your faith. Don’t give up. Rely on God.
One thing I’ve come to appreciate is that God’s promises don’t always promise an easy path, but they do promise His presence. There have been times when I didn’t know how a situation would turn out, but remembering that God walks with us through the trial gave me hope.
Jesus’ words, “I am with you always” (Matthew 28:20), have become increasingly meaningful to me over the years. Sometimes His presence is the greatest promise of all.
