Who celebrates Lent?

I’ve been reading about Lent and realized Christians handle it very differently. Some churches follow a liturgical calendar and observe Lent (Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and some Protestants like Lutherans, Anglicans/Episcopalians, Methodists, and even some Presbyterians), while others don’t.

If your church observes Lent, what does it look like for you (fasting, prayer, confession, almsgiving, special services)? If your church doesn’t, what’s the reason and how do you prepare your heart for Easter instead?

For referece:

First. Welcome. Second. Amen.

Peter

I would think that Lent is observed rather than celebrated. I would also think that for Christians such ritual is more like training wheels for faith.
