Who is this man I call my husband

me and my husband’s been together for 18 years our kids are grown and doing their own thing in life and it’s I don’t know what it is we had a hard road in the beginning to a lot of bad decisions now a lot of damage but he’s still stuck there and can’t see the change in me and seen that I grew up was lost I was younger there’s a man I look at now I don’t recognize him and he’s the drugs he’s so angry all the time and me and it makes me angry and I feel like it cuts me off from God please help me pray so that we find our way cuz I love him I’ve spent majority of my life with him but I don’t like him and I don’t know him I feel like he’s lost and I pray for him to get baptized because I really feel like once he has a holy Spirit come sit in him the other possessions from the evilness can’t come in and he also will have his guidance his compass that’s what I learned after getting baptized and getting clean and ask me to be saved it is more than just being forgiving of your sins it’s being shown the way and giving you that peace and comfort that has been that we look for in drugs. men. food. and so on so that joy and peace and I never knew that once the Father or Lord Jesus filled us with his gift of love and light and his strength know as the Holy Spirit truly was all that I was searching for and didn’t even know what I needed and gave it him and he put the missing piece and filled in the cracks of who I was and let me know that there is a purpose and value in my life…so thank you Jesus thank you for those who pray and please stay vigilant in this very tricky and dark world but even in the Darkness we the followes of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ must be the light and let it shine and so gods children our brothers and sisters can also find there way to the answer and meaning of our life to there Father our Lord even in the darkest of days may your love be a beacon home …Amen !!!

Prayer for Spiritual Renewal and Restoration

Heavenly Father, we lift up this marriage to You, asking for Your healing touch to restore both hearts and renew their relationship. Lord, we pray for peace to replace anger and understanding to replace confusion. Guide this husband toward true transformation, not through rituals but by encountering You personally. Help him recognize that baptism alone doesn’t save or hold supernatural power, but rather it is a public declaration of faith in Christ—a step of obedience symbolizing what You have already done in our hearts through grace and salvation.

We ask that You fill him with the Holy Spirit, leading him away from destructive behaviors and into a life of purpose, joy, and peace. Let Your love shine through both of them, bringing clarity, forgiveness, and hope. Surround them with Your guidance and allow their relationship to reflect Your light, offering hope to others who are walking in darkness. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”Ephesians 2:8-9
