I saw a video on Instagram the other day that a Christian man posted the other day. It flashed between images of Jesus and AI generated crusader pictures. The message he was trying to send was probably I love Jesus and I fight for Christian culture. But the message it gave me was I love Jesus and I want Muslims to die an go to hell.
It’s not just that. I’ve seen many Christians have crusaders as their profile pics online. Also in post about Muslims in USA or Europe I’ve seen comments about having another crusade or other extremist posts like feeding them pork or blowing them up. And when I click on their profiles I see pictures of Bible verses and Jesus.
There is that magic word again that gets posts flagged. Cl—. (sigh) Now to my response to what you are saying.
Now, do I think some are a bit ah, extreme? Maybe. Do I see a problem in the desire to no longer remain silent as a religion driven by hate, pedophilia, and murder, makes its way into the free world with a verbalized goal of enacting Sharia law and forcing everyone to convert or die? Yes. I say it is more than time.
“Christianity,” if you will, should be defending women, protecting children, and attempting to share the gospel with them. Never bowing to them and accepting Islam as equal to Christ. It is not.
Oh, and without Jesus as their cornerstone, and He is not, they are already going to hell.
My advice is simple, if Muslims do not like the free world, do not go there. If you did, do not expect them to change for you, assimilate, or leave. Pretty simple.

I haven’t seen this at all, though I suppose it does exist. Any mention of the crusaders has come from non believers and it’s their defense for not taking up the gospel. They point to the history of the church and certain current pastors to defame Christianity. You really don’t want to get into a debate with them on this point. A lot of it is true.
So I tell them I’m not talking about the church or people who claim to be Christians. I’m telling them about Jesus; who He is and what He’s done.
Well they call them terrorists now. The prophets are saying that sharia law will be instituted in the US. Boy oh boy wont American women just love that.
The historical Crusades were deeply problematic since they conflated Christianity with political power and often resorted to violence to achieve spiritual outcomes. This has been a problem in almost every century since to some extent. It’s antithetical to Jesus’ message that his kingdom is not of this world and was not ushered in through political power, but through repentance and transformation of the heart.
I haven’t really seen what you are referring to, but I would say that those people have missed the point of Jesus’ message.
I appreciate DaughterOfEve24’s point that Jesus’ kingdom is not advanced through force or political power. History shows that whenever Christianity becomes closely tied to power, it can lose sight of Christ’s example of humility, love, and service.
I also think it’s important to distinguish between the actions of people throughout history and the teachings of Jesus Himself. Christians have not always lived up to Christ’s example, but that doesn’t change what He taught about loving our neighbors and even our enemies.
For me, studying history should make us more humble. It reminds us that every generation needs to examine whether we are truly reflecting Christ’s character.
I believe many of us (and sometimes even myself) want to use Old Testament solutions for our problems…

I seen that happening in a church we formerly attended- They cheered, and praised God for what they seen as “His side winning” in the current Middle East issues, while I see in The Word, that God is not willing that anyone should perish (2Peter 3:9)
