Why Can a Sincere Apology Be So Difficult?

Most of us know the words “I’m sorry,” but a real apology can require much more than saying them.

What do you think makes an apology meaningful? Is it acknowledging exactly what we did, asking forgiveness, trying to make things right, changing our behavior, or all of those?

And do you think Christians sometimes find it just as difficult as anyone else to admit, “I was wrong”?

Just because I need more than just one word, yet I believe the answer can be reduced to one word, that word is Pride.

Be blessed, be a blessing.

Peter

Most people do not think they have done anything wrong and never apologize.
