In the Bible, some people receive dramatic encounters, visions, miracles, or direct guidance, while others seem to walk faithfully with much less information.
Why do you think God reveals Himself differently to different people?

Why do you think God reveals Himself differently to different people?
I think it must be according to the person’s personal capacity to receive it. Some people it only needs to be God’s Whisper, and they go, Wow !! While others have to be taken to foxhole and presented with thoughts of death or ruin to get their attention.
I think God reveals to us what we an accept. Sometimes that’s a little glimpse and sometimes that’s a dramatic encounter. It’s his mercy that meets us where we are, wherever we are.
I also heard a really impactful sermon recently in which the pastor talked about how the Holy Spirit and the Kingdom of God are always all around us, but we often don’t have spiritual eyes to see it. This hit home for me in a small circumstance the other day when I was having a rough time and I was engaged in a mundane task (sweeping the kitchen floor) and I happened to glance up and saw a little sparrow out the window which seemed to look right at me. I immediately thought of the Bible verse: “Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows” (Matt. 10:31). It’s a little thing, but I truly believe the Spirit speaks to us in moments like these if we are open to seeing it. The more open our spiritual eyes are, I think the more we will see God’s presence in the world and in our own hearts.
Part of it might be woven into God’s original plan, and part of it might be the maturity of the person God is using to reveal things.
