Starting with my kids, expanded to all, I have always, and try to always follow Jesus’ command.

I have four children. Well, two adults and two children. But at one time, they were little also. I have always taken this passage to heart. If they ask me for something, or I tell them something, they have no doubts whatsoever. It will happen. Why “Daddy said so.” If I told them, which I never would have, of course, but if I told them to go on the roof, and jump off, and they would soar to the sky like the Angels, guess what? I would have a lot of explaining to do to the Police when they come to take me away. They would take that leap of faith for no other reason than “Daddy said so.”
This is the kind of relationship God wants to have with us. God said. It is so. Why? “Daddy said so.” I am forgiven. “Daddy said so.” I am a new creature. “Daddy said so.” I am now a child of God. “Daddy said so.”I will leave this earth one day, and I will go to be with Him. Why? How am I so sure? “Daddy said so.”
