I often get that, “your views”, when that phrase I find is most often used by those who desire to insert some of the basket of fragments that Jesus warned us about. If I quote a Scripture directly, and stay strictly within that written Scripture with an explanation, then how is that ‘my view’? What’s going on with that confusion? If all God’s written Word is for is just so the number of people in the world who read it can have their ‘own’ view of what it says, then how could Christ’s Kingdom stand?
But I thank our Heavenly Father that He did not just leave it up to man with how to rightly interpret His written Word, for He always provides two or more Bible witnesses of a matter in His Word to confirm it. And that’s what I mean by being studied in God’s Word. It has nothing to do with men’s systems of education; it’s about covering the two or more Scripture witnesses of a matter so the RIGHT interpretation becomes anchored in the believer’s mind by The Holy Spirit. And once one has done that, why should they suddenly discard it just so they can hear new things, like those in Athens which Apostle Paul met which lived each day just to hear new things?
I hope you do look further into it, along with those same prophecies in other Books, like Isaiah and Ezekiel.
