It’s a question? I found in the bible. And when it came to mind, the question is on all mankind’s heart. Who is my hero and why?
He is King by right, through Gods laws, by right as creator and by right as saviour.
Show me how? And maybe ill show you how not! And if if I can show you how not. could you then show me how? 8 think not.
Jesus as King
Matthew 2:2 (KJV)
“Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.”
John 18:37 (KJV)
“Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”
1 Timothy 6:15 (KJV)
“Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords.”
Revelation 19:16 (KJV)
“And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”
Jesus as Prophet
Deuteronomy 18:15 (KJV)
“The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken.”
Acts 3:22 (KJV)
“For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.”
Luke 24:19 (KJV)
“And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people.”
John 6:14 (KJV)
“Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.”
Jesus as High Priest
Hebrews 2:17 (KJV)
“Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.”
Hebrews 4:14 (KJV)
“Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.”
Hebrews 7:24–25 (KJV)
“But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.”
Hebrews 8:1 (KJV)
“Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens.”
Taken together, Scripture testifies plainly and repeatedly that Jesus Christ fulfills all three offices: King, Prophet, and High Priest, not symbolically, but historically, presently, and eternally, grounded in His incarnation, sealed by the cross, and confirmed by the resurrection.
J.
But let me me ponder this how did he achieve this title. but if not earning it. And if he earned it but where from.
Let me know when you find the answer.
J.
And yes he does. and he is all that but where is the glory. Without the creation wich is me and you included. Where would he truly be.
Hebrews1:1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, **2 **but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. **3 **The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. **4 **So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.
Jesus has all authority and rights as creator which equals that or exceeds the authority of a King.
That is up to you. God already has people who worship Him.
“And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying, “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.” Revelation 4:9-11
Is one place we see this.
“Then I heard something like the voice of a great multitude and like the sound of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, saying, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.” Revelation 19:6-7
All of creation will.
“You alone are the Lord.
You have made the heavens,
The heaven of heavens with all their host,
The earth and all that is on it,
The seas and all that is in them.
You give life to all of them
And the heavenly host bows down before You.” Nehemiah 9:6
Every knee shall bow. Either in acceptance or out of fear and regret.
Peter
So check it out. if you go from the old testament, To the new. What do you have? Jesus put in his place by his father. Whom the father did not even recognize, until the clouds opened up and he said, today you are my son. His creation his kingdom. His people. so It leads me to believe it was a father schooling his son. Why did he have to do that? For us? But who are we? But his creation. I’ve went around this so many times. And I’ve read. But it was not my desire to do so. It’s like I was being dragged kicking and screaming. To the point I didn’t want to be anymore. The questions that hit my mind alone. The blasphemy that had to be set straight. In my mind it was coming to me from somewhere else. And what gave me a little clarification. Came from scripture. There is nothing new under the sun.
Not tru. to my understanding of a king, wearing a belt of righteousness.if he can’t win your heart he looses.
I would say we were created thru him. And what does that say? We were created thru a father’s love for his son. a cornerstone. And it reads love. so we all have a common ground, and its love, from wich we all were born. And created from. Put the love of a mother to her son, she would bow. And say truly. I love my son.
Absolutely not true. The voice we hear at Jesus’ baptism was for our sake, not His. The voice appearing at Jesus’ baptism is considered a pivotal “Theophany”—a visible and audible manifestation of God to humanity.
According to the Gospels, Matthew 3, Mark 1, and Luke 3, this event served several specific purposes:
Divine Validation and Identity
The primary reason for the voice was to publicly identify Jesus. By stating, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased,” God was providing a “heavenly stamp of approval.” Before Jesus began his public miracles or teaching, this declaration established his identity as the Messiah, not just another prophet or a follower of John the Baptist.
The Launch of the Ministry
In ancient traditions, anointing was the formal way to kick off a king’s reign or a priest’s service. While John provided the water baptism, God provided the spiritual anointing. The voice acted as the formal induction ceremony for Jesus’ three-year mission leading toward the Crucifixion and Resurrection.
Revealing the Trinity
For many theologians, this is one of the clearest moments in the Bible where all three “persons” of the Trinity are present simultaneously:
The Son: Jesus being baptized in the water.
The Holy Spirit: Descending like a dove.
The Father: Speaking from the heavens.
Fulfilling Prophecy
The words spoken from heaven weren’t random; they echoed Old Testament scriptures that the Jewish audience would have recognized:
Psalm 2:7: “You are my Son; today I have begotten you.” The Kingly aspect
Isaiah 42:1: “Behold my servant… in whom my soul delights.” The Suffering Servant aspect
While it’s a beautiful and cinematic moment, it’s worth noting that the baptism wasn’t for Jesus to be “forgiven” of sins, as he is considered sinless; rather, it was a gesture of solidarity with humanity and a way to “fulfill all righteousness.”
. Nope. Sorry, but if Jesus the great I AM cannot win your heart. You lose. More than you can ever imagine.
Peter
Good point. And this is true. But why did his father say the word today you are my son if he was god in the begining
I dont think the father gave him everything like he did lucifer. I think his titles were earned thru trials and tribulations. Just as ours are.
The whole point is he is a true righteous king. He already won my heart, and I believe he will win all hearts. The perfect example is a father’s love of for his son this is what I married into. And I believe.
Jesus Christ is righteous King because He reigns from God, is holy in character, and rules with perfect justice.
God made Him King ~Psalm 2:6. He doesn’t have to learn or grow into righteousness. He is righteousness. Scripture names Him “the LORD our righteousness” ~Jeremiah 23: 5–6 and clearly states, “in him is no sin” ~1 John 3:5. His throne stands on justice rather than force. “A sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom” ~Hebrews 1:8.
He’s not like earthly kings who lord their power over us. Christ gave up His life for His people ~Matthew 20:28. And He’s not like earthly courts which can be swayed. His justice cannot be perverted. God “will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained” ~Acts 17:31.
This is why He is the true righteous King. His kingdom is holy, His sacrifice was sufficient, and His reign will never cease ~Luke 1:33.
Jesus did not earn His position by climbing a ladder of success. Fallen men work for titles. Jesus did not.
He had authority by right. And God vindicated that authority publicly.
Jesus was named King before He was ever born in human flesh. “Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.” ~Psalm 2:6. Jesus didn’t wait for men to vote Him in as King. He was born King by God’s declaration. ~Isaiah 9:6.
When Jesus came as a baby, died on the cross, and resurrected from the dead, it was not to earn authority from man. It was to show Himself worthy to lay that authority on those who would follow Him in righteousness. He humbled Himself to obey God to the point of death ~Philippians 2: 8 and God responded by raising Him up publicly. “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him.” ~Philippians 2:9
The resurrection was God’s vindication. “Declared to be the Son of God with power… by the resurrection from the dead.” ~Romans 1:4. Earned? No. From man? No. But proved from God? Absolutely.
There you have it. Cut through the fog.
Jesus didn’t take the crown.
He didn’t earn it from those who fell short of glory.
He wore it by birthright, and God certified it when He raised Jesus from the dead.
And that my friends is why every knee will bow ~Philippians 2:10 kicking and screaming or not.
Because “today” marks God’s public declaration, not Christ’s beginning.
The Son did not start existing when the Father said those words. Scripture already settled that. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” ~John 1:1. Jesus did not become God. He is God. “Before Abraham was, I am” ~John 8:58.
Psalm 2 is not about creation. It is about enthronement. God is announcing the King, not producing a being. Paul tells you exactly when and how that verse applies. God fulfilled it “in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is written, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee” ~Acts 13:33. The resurrection is the “today.” It is the moment heaven publicly declared what had always been true.
Jesus was always the Son by nature. But He was declared Son with power in history. “Declared to be the Son of God with power… by the resurrection from the dead” ~Romans 1:4. The Father was not giving Him divinity. He was vindicating His authority.
So here is the truth without fog. Christ did not come into being. He came into office. The crown was not earned from men. It was revealed by God. And that is why every knee will bow, not because Jesus became something new, but because the world was finally shown who He has always been.
You are so wrong. To the point that I would be willing to put my jesus against yours. I’ll tear him down. from what you believe is heaven, or wherever he is. Whoever he is. your job will be to lift up the son of man. My job will be to stop you. If you can’t lift him up dont stand up because you will fall. my king is rightous.who is yours
