So apparently people are saying the rapture will take place on October 6 or 7th now?

I’m just gonna be honest, I get kind of annoyed when all I see on social media is “rapture date” or “new rapture date just dropped.” It’s all stemming from a pastor’s prediction but still…I think like most social media related trends, it’s really distracting. We need to focus on serving and growing in our faith-walk daily!!!

A couple verses that back this up: Matthew 24:36 (ESV) – “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.”
→ Jesus Himself said that no one knows the exact time of His return. Trying to forecast or speculate about the rapture distracts from what He actually commanded—living faithfully day to day. Acts 1:7 (NIV) – “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.”
→ When the disciples asked about the end times, Jesus redirected them from curiosity about timing to their mission (see Acts 1:8).

They will repent after December 29th or burn. We are in Revelation 9 right now. The people that seek rapture are the men that seek death. But death flees from them. The 5 months started July 29th and ends December 29th when the Sun sits on Sagittarius’ head. 153 days. Fish caught in a net of their own making.

I hope I get chance to fi[nish] my unread topics. Still here.

This topic evoked such a fright in me in my youth and is still wonder-filled among many. We probably shouldn’t be so ancy to predict this fulfillment. While human nature does tend to make us over analyze, here are some great, Crosswalk topics I reread and may be help to alleviate any concerns:

Interesting take…hmm

Here is a pretty good breakdown of the different viewpoints of the book of Revelation’s timeline:

I’m not sure anyone could really define the rapture; even the early scholars lacked the words to truly capture what the rapture was and when it will start. I think we have to let the future unfold as it was defined by God and work on today and now. I think those media outlets that predict the rapture are doing so to mock Christians, as this is essentially disrespectful to the words and teachings from Jesus.

So one thing about my life is that I have had the opportunity to work with the homeless, help the sick, and counsel those who are in prison. I worked with a pastor, and we visited various people, prayed for them, and assisted with help and support to start new lives. One thing we saw a lot was reoccurring bad fortune, problems with finances, and various other challenges that the normal person would just walk away from. However, the pastor always had a rosy disposition, and I asked him one day why he seemed so cheerful with all this hardship and trouble. He said this meant souls are being won for Jesus, and the demons are scared because those they ensnared are now free. So with all the negativity in the world and fighting and protesting based on the pastors’ take, there must be a massive energy from the saints who are rising and putting on the armor of Jesus and casting off the chains that once ensnared them.

It certainly shows just how guliable some people are and how ignorant they are of scripture.

Deuternomy18,**20 **But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death.”

**21 **You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” **22 **If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.

There are these people saying that such and such will happen. They are claiming to be speaking with Gods authority.

What they prophercies does not happen.

So they should repent and leave what ever Christian ministry they are in. They are blasphemers.

y’all still here? It’s October 8th.

Did you know Jesus told exactly when he would return?

Matthew 24

29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.**30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.31 **And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Paul also reaffirms this in 1 Thessalonians 4

**5 **For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep.

**16 **For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. **17 **Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. **18 **Therefore encourage one another with these words.

This world of the Lord is Matthew 24:29-31. The living saints will be caught up with the sleeping saints and will be transformed into our new bodies.

Corinthians 15

**51 **Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, **52 **in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.

On that day we will not be raptured from the tribulation, but will be transformed at the same time as the sleeping saints are resurrected from the dead. And all of us will be on this again alive and will witness Jesus slaughter the armies of the anti-christ.
