I’m just gonna be honest, I get kind of annoyed when all I see on social media is “rapture date” or “new rapture date just dropped.” It’s all stemming from a pastor’s prediction but still…I think like most social media related trends, it’s really distracting. We need to focus on serving and growing in our faith-walk daily!!!
A couple verses that back this up: Matthew 24:36 (ESV) – “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.”
→ Jesus Himself said that no one knows the exact time of His return. Trying to forecast or speculate about the rapture distracts from what He actually commanded—living faithfully day to day. Acts 1:7 (NIV) – “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.”
→ When the disciples asked about the end times, Jesus redirected them from curiosity about timing to their mission (see Acts 1:8).
