The big problem with the big bang theory is just that, it’s a theory! But the Bible says in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, and on that basics along, it says also that he created all things was there a big boom that created the heavens and all the things there also, Gen 1:1 is clear: In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth! Theory is of man not of God, he spoke and it was and is!

Is there a Bible in the house? I bet a church would give you one. You can also read online Bibles. My favorite is Bible Gateway
I like to read the KJV because I was weaned on it lol. And also the NLT version because it is very modern and plain in it. In your situation I would be reading Psalm 91 over that house & property & people every day. The Lord loves it when you pray His own Word to Him.
If you had a clue how much good solid advice and instructions are in the Bible, I bet you’d be reading it non-stop. Don’t be afraid to speak to the Lord in prayer, open your heart to Him and tell Him.

This is not about having a slightly different opinion. This is about whether you are submitting to what God has spoken or reshaping it to fit what seems right to you.
The Bible does not present creation as a process driven by chance or guided evolution. It says plainly, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” ~Genesis 1:1. And concerning man, “the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground… and man became a living soul” ~Genesis 2:7. That is not poetry to be reinterpreted. That is the testimony of God.
And here is where the danger lies. Scripture says, “by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin” ~Romans 5:12. But what you are saying requires death before sin, suffering before the fall, and that directly contradicts what God has declared. If you remove that foundation, you do not simply adjust your view of origins. You begin to distort the very reason Christ came to die.
You must understand this. You do not have the authority to stand over Scripture and decide what parts will remain and what parts will be reshaped. The Bible says, “let God be true, but every man a liar” ~Romans 3:4. The question is not what seems reasonable to modern thinking. The question is, will you bow to the Word of God?
I am not trying to win an argument with you. I am concerned for your soul. There are many who claim the name of Christ, but they have never come under the authority of His Word. Jesus said, “He that is of God heareth God’s words” ~John 8:47. If a man continually reshapes those words, he needs to ask himself whether he truly belongs to Him.
Examine yourself. Not lightly, but seriously. “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith” ~2 Corinthians 13:5. Because it is a fearful thing to claim Christ while refusing to submit to what He has spoken.
This is not about science. This is about lordship. And the question before you is simple:
Will you believe God, or will you correct Him?

I disagree with this - but I do believe in evolution. Survival of the fittest and how species have adapted over many years cannot be overlooked.

Mr.max1192025 Stop apologizing or worrying that you are offending us by being wrong. You are a new christian, raised in witchcraft and satanism and now want to follow Christ. Big switch there buddy, of course you’re nervous. No one here expects you to have all the answers.
What we are concerned with at this point is not explaining the creation account perfectly. We are concerned with if you are willing to let God’s Word stand AS IT IS written, even if it goes against everything you have believed up until this point.
Scripture clearly says God Created The Heaven and The Earth ~Genesis 1: 1, made man from the dust of the ground then BREATHED life into him and he became a living soul ~Genesis 2:7, death came into the world through one man sinning ~Romans 5:12. It does not say He created a big bang theory that God later repaired or that man evolved from monkeys with God choosing to breathe life into one ape that became smarter. When Scripture is clear we don’t try to bend it to fit our idea of what we think happened.
Please know you are no horrible person for not knowing this. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God ~Romans 3: 23 But thank God Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures ~1 Corinthians 15:3-4. If you feel upset, that is perfectly OK. The Lord can use those moments of weakness to reach out and have you trust in Him. Just simply tell Him you want to believe what He has said is true and ask Him to save your soul.
Simple stuff~ read the Bible for yourself. Start in the book of John and let God’s word be the ultimate authority. You don’t need to have all the scientific answers tonight.
Just allow yourself to submit to the things He has made clear. He is gracious to those who earnestly seek Him. If you have a legitimate question from Scripture please ask. The peace you’re looking for comes from believing God rather than correcting Him.

ive always just been taught “science proves everything, gods magic isn’t real”, even in school. so with all these years of being a grade A student in science and world history, its hard for me to believe immediately even though i want to.
It does. It proves the Bible correct many times over. Evolution is a failed theory backed by junk science. Where did the first something come from, not only if not God, but some say there is no God, therefore it cannot be God. This is faulty and junk science. Instead of using the scientific method, examining ALL possibilities, they exclude one that they are trying to “prove” does not exist.
Two, it is also scientifically impossible that everything from man to mosquitoes, fish to plants and trees, came from a single cell organism. DNA and biology tell us this plainly.
Three, where is the real evidence? If we evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys? Some claim the modern-day elephant “evolved” from woolly mammoths. Where are the woolly mammoths? Gone. This makes it plausible. They are also related. This makes it possible. But a man from monkey, or fish, or whatever, is not.

The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them." you showed theory of what happened, the bible declares what actually happened!
They had it right in the movie, Miracle on 34th Street. She said, Seeing isnt believing, Believing is Seeing…
In other words, Belief is a choice. First you choose to believe it, then the ball is in the Lord’s court. He wont let you down. He’ll reveal Him self and give a rock solid confirmation, after you choose to believe. It wont be anything that can be proven by science, but it will be proof for you, and you will know it. You trust doctors when they diagnose you, right? You have no proof if they are right because you are not a doctor, so you choose to believe him. Same thing.

when i was young – if i didn’t believe in science, it’d be beaten into me or i’d be sent to a psych ward!!! its not my fault i had science hammered into my brain. i’m actually gonna end it at this point. i cant take it anymore.
