its mentioned in the story of paul (i think) that jesus is the god of this world. does that mean god has sent another to other planets? is it mentioned anywhere other worlds exsist? or is it just a general god is god over all world i.e. mars, neptune, omicronperci 8 etc. are we alone?
It is clear from john1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
That Jesus created Everything, which means he is also the God of everything.
Jesus came to this world to save us and to restore the rule of God, which the devil has usurped.
We know nothing about other planets outside of the solar system.
Theological it is difficult to reason how intelligent life could exist elsewhere in the universe because Adams fall cause all of creation to be cursed and a fallen race of âETâsâ could never hear about Jesus.
but it could be possible they have afall in some way but no christ to live by yet. key word âyetâ if alien life exsists clearly created. maybe some prophet of that world to lead to discovry of god through us? like god is playing the long game? the main reason for op is i struggle with the idea of being the only sentient being in all the cosmos, in all universes in all galxies and star systems theres just us. it seems almost narsassistic of the human race to think its just us. that weâre gods only children.

Look at how lavish Godâs creation is, not just a handful of trees, bushes, flowers, edible plants, fruits but thousands of them!
Again look at the animal life, not just a few useful types but many many types that are useful for mankind and many many more types of animals.
Why am I talking about these things, because God is even more lavish in his creation of stars, star systems, galaxies etc.
We have a great God who formed with a word the universe.
We will never know this side of heaven whether there is intelligent life somewhere on the other side of the universe.
All we do know is that there is life here and that we have a purpose to worship and serve our God.

If aliens travel, presumably between star systems are you able to point to the evidence of the exhaust from there starship, or of the heat radiation from those ships.

@Who-me, I donât think that God created other civilizations; but if he did, they probably had their own Adam and Eve who fell into sin too. Of course, this is all speculation, because such creatures havenât made themselves clearly apparent to us. I wouldnât put it past our all-powerful God, though.
this post was just a curiosity for me. there are many who have claimed seeing aliens or ships. the new comet seen with light coming from the front is speculated as a possible ship. iâve witnessed odd things that cant really be explained (except NOT alien) but its been discused with friends and family over years but until we know we dont know. but i feel small and kind of fearful that this planet is it. in a cynical way if this is the only world we humans really screwd up. if there is something out there that can make the world look to the heavens againâŚ

@m801, Iâm curious. What do you mean by your observation that âthis planet is itâ? I assume that you mean that our planet is the only one with human or alien life, but what do you mean when you say that you âfeel small and kind of fearfulâ about that thought?
Of course, we humans have messed the world and ourselves up by rebelling against God either passively or actively (called sin, which is really self-centeredness).
There is the God of the Bible who will someday bring Jesus back with all who have trusted him to give to them and the earth final perfection. He has confirmed that truth when Jesus rose bodily and permanently from the dead. How do I know that it was a historical event? The reason is all the hundreds of eyewitnesses who were willing to suffer and die rather than given up their testimonies that they saw him die and come back to life three days later.
Technically we are all aliens. We are all so far from home.

There are two issues here.
1/ the reality of peoples experience with âufosâ.
2/ the posibility that aliens from other star systems have visited earth.

A simple question where is the interstellar spaceship parked in our solar system?
Any vessel capable of crossing inter stellar space will be big, it will be radiating energy so where is it?
To the reply that they are so advanced that we cannot detect this vessel, I reply.
If they are that advanced why do we know they are here?
Fact:- one cannot hide in space.
Against the absolut zero temperature of space any spaceship will standout like a beacon.
Sop it follows there are NO alien visitors from other star systems.
That leaves us with 1.
That people see âufosâ vehicles that move at fantastic speeds, that alter direction dramaticle, stop instantly etc tc or people who report being abducted and being experimented on and other weird experiences.
How do we explain/account for them?
They are not from outer space, they are from this planet, they lie, they cause harm to those they abduct, and these experiences end when Jesus is called upon.
They are demons seeking to lead people away from God and they are doing in this life what they will do to those in there power in hell.

the âsmall and fearfulâ ties inwith this because in general many people feel small on earth, but sooth themselves with thoughts of being alone in the cosmos. when i look into the skies and see planets, galaxy clusters, stardust i want to believe theres a reason for the infinite space, otherwise why not make just earth. that makes me feel even smaller and more insignificant, and that scares me because i feel like if there isnt something else out there then this planet could end up a dead rock floating in space before our sun goes nova.
i know the fear is irrational but what if were suppose to travel the stars to keep humans alive and what if there is life? now god is not just ours but evryones in all the creations.

@m801, I understand your fears, because Iâve been scared many times in my 82 years. I suggest that you take all your fears to God in prayer persistently and ask him for his peace to accept whatever he allows to happen to humans and the earth, if youâre at all a praying person. The 3-in-1 God of the Bible created the universe, and if you feel small, he is large and in charge so that he fills his universe. For that very reason, because I feel it too, it causes me to praise him for his unlimited greatness.
However, you and I are significant because God has made us as his creatures. The Psalmist says that he made us a little lower than the angels, and he created us who believe in and follow his ways to rule the new universe under Jesus when he reappears.
The Bible also says that we will be protected when God burns off the earth with his fire, not physical fire, just as he protected Danielâs three friends in a hot Babylon furnace, when they refused to bow down to a false god.
Then, he will re-create this decaying universe into a new heaven and a new earth, where believers will live with him in new, perfect resurrection bodies. If you havenât read the Bible much, read the New Testament first. Skip the lists of names by getting the idea and moving on. Find a good translation like the English Standard Version or the older NIV.
Maybe, we can have more conversations, because I have read the Bible through many times during my many years, but there are mysteries in it that we canât understand. However, the history happened, and the teachings are very clear. They all reveal Godâs amazing divine nature and his revealing of his relationship with us in the Bible.

you give me much to concider. i struggle with many things spiritually. i stepped away from organizd religion due to people more than doctrin, though i saw contrdictions in that to because differant versions or how others saw it. but this forum seems diverse but supportive, generally.
