I dont understand what’s going on here. I looked at this thread and idk if I was posting my comments here or somewhere else. So if you hit the little arrow right below someone’s post are you not answering there post? And should it not be like a answer? Like I said I’m pretty much computer illiterate. And this is my first forum.

No solid leads though. But I have no doubt that a reason DOES exist that explains why reality has gone so far off the rails. Why people blatantly lie about things they claim to know. Or choose to use feelings and belief as logic and rational instead of facts, research, and the scientific method. And why even scientific research studies in publications long held in high esteem were suddenly contaminated with fallacious behavior by people who should have known better. Why airplanes are so poorly put together and maintained. And why they keep falling out of the sky. And along with helicopters, why they now have so many crashes and near misses.

Mass Paranoia, Anxiety, Depression, Volatility, Delusional Thinking…

So yes, I preach an anchor, a compass, a lighthouse, a solid rock. For when all other lights grow dim and go out.

For when the preacher begins passing around poisoned baguettes as the body of Christ. And for when the leaders of the free world begin stripping away every possible way for communities of everyday normal people, like yourselves and your families, to protect yourselves from sickness, and out of control weather events. And for when they play favorites with diminished resources, choosing who lives and who dies. While decreasing the resources available to all so there is less and less to give.

Resources that enable you to know when food poisoning is on the rise, to be alerted when the flood waters rise, to have resources in your hospitals when disease begins to rise.

And for when politicians ignore a power grid, or a dam, that will be wiped out with the perfect storm knowing full well lives will be taken along the way. Do you really not see the danger you are all in? Or is this truly madness afoot?

That the great plan of man for salvation is theft and death. To take your freedoms (bit by bit, little by little.) To take your money, by increasing costs and crashing wall street. To take your lives, by turning you against one another, by turning public ire against one community after another, diminishing the numbers of all those who would resist one at a time. Weakening the public into malnutritional submission until they cannot lift a finger against their manmade god kings.

A compass for when even nations fall and mankind stands alone with no resources at all except for what they have in small regions, slammed by massive blizzards or scorching heat, unable to move about freely or easily, unable to grow what they need to survive.

But only one reason for the whole lot of it appears to make sense to me more than anything. And that is that the AntiChrist has actually come. Father of Lies. Destroyer. Betrayer. And many are led by that spirit to their doom, unable to see and acknowledge the truth that is directly in front of them. Ignoring the important details that will in fact cost lives. A spirit of drunkenness and debauchery that leads people to chase after pleasure alone instead of what sustains life. And a lock has been placed on the brain that keeps it from making a logical choice so that a only a few see what is happening, and no one has the ability to do anything to change the course of the whole thing. Except God..

As much as I love computers and streaming services, the world will be far better off when it is all gone. It has cost us our humanity- people care far more about being seen, and getting that rush from likes, than doing something worthy of being done.

Hey check it out, I’ve been thinking about revelations alot. When the witnesses hit they kill them in front of the whole world. It doesn’t say some will celebrate this. They go as far as making it a holiday giving presents. I dont think any of gods people are going to be here when this goes down.

  1. Revelations may not be what we think it is. I watched a documentary that compared Revelations with a series of oracles in Greek and Roman tradition. Side by side, it showed how the symbolism and imagery compared. In the past, many have believed that the book of Revelations was a warning to Christians in that time it was written of Nero and Roman movement to destroy Christians. And if either of these two are true, and this is not God’s divine plan for the future, then someone or something is going out of its way to make it appear so.
  2. Who are God’s People? Israelites? Christians? Both? Either way, only 144000 are said to be taken- but that does not necessarily mean they are either Israelites or Christians. As both groups claim a much larger number, even individual tribes or Church Groups have many more numbers than this rather small number.
  3. Could the Christian faith be so far deceived that none are considered God’s People any more? That only 144000 understand Christ’s Teachings, and hold them in practice? Or must death and destruction take place before such a small number is taken up?

But anyone who would profess to know the answers would prove no wiser than anyone who proclaims the date and hour. Many think they know many things, but no one truly knows anything.

Hey check it out I only read a couple of your sentences. And had this touught grock4 watching that stuff on YouTube. Brought me back to a book I read in 2015. Revelations decoded. 4 people one atheist, one scientist, one Baptist, one Catholic. Said they was guided by the spirit of the apostle john. They allowed john was talking in code a mathematical code. in the book they break down the code. And with it they broke down the prophecy within. Now grocks theory ended credit to this book that was written in the it’s. How it’s the same code that grock came up with.

Hmmmmm..I’ve never thought of why people do not embrace the word..but I’m going to ask some people why, and see what they say. My son simply replies that it’s just a book, with lots of different authors, with little evidence that anything in scripture took place. He agrees that evidence of Jesus is real, and that He was definitely here, but he doesn’t believe that Jesus is the Son of God, yet he easily believes some You Tuber who rejects scripture and “proves” it with “theories”. I’ve argued with him that much of Roman history (which he really likes) is only recorded on limited scrolls, and much of the history we were taught in school isn’t accurate. We only find out about this many years later as we discover more evidence that suggests the history we were taught is more like indoctrination rather than historically accurate. But I’m not a history buff so I don’t have a lot of ammunition to argue with him on that point. BUT, he admits that he would rather follow Jesus than believe in God. I shake my head at this. He doesn’t consider the Old Testament as the bible, just the NT. I’ve asked him if he’s even read the OT, because if he did he’d find Jesus all over the OT. I’ve grown weary of arguing with him. Now I just tell him “I know where you are because I’ve been there. You’ll see.” and leave it at that.

As for evidence to support the Word, we only have to look at archeology and the discoveries world wide that support scripture, many of the stories, and that the apostles spread the Word far and wide. I don’t have these examples at hand, but a quick internet search will offer so many examples that you could read and discover for years to come. The one that does come to mind is the Mosaic Church uncovered in Israel in recent years.

As for God moving in my life..where do I begin? I have so many testimonies, and so many answered prayers that I journal them and share them with friends.

  1. He answered me when I asked Him for understanding. He was doing something in my life, early in my walk with Him, and I didn’t understand what He was doing. I was going through depression, really really bad at the time, and an event happened that pushed me into despair. I’ve shared this story with many others, and at my baptism as well, to encourage those who suffer with anxiety and depression to just hang on. Keep praying. Keep seeking Him. He WILL answer. If He answered me, then He would do the same for them. In that moment of despair, when crazy thoughts were zipping through my head at light speed, I felt like a trapped animal. Whew..this is hard..so please bear with me..in that moment, thoughts of how to end my life in the cleanest way possible, filled my head, and I felt fear like I’ve never felt it before. So, I dropped to my knees in my bedroom closet and prayed..”God? I know you have a plan for me, and this is part of it, but I don’t understand. Please help me understand.” These words filled my entire being - sometimes God says no, and sometimes God says not now. Lyrics from a song whose title I don’t know, nor the artists, and it’s country (ugh), but the words came in clear and loud. And I went from despair to joy in a split second. Then, I texted a friend to tell her what had happened. I typed out the event that led me to despair and sent it off to her. As I was typing out what happened next, when those words filled me, and she had already replied with “Oh Joanne, I’m praying so hard for you right now. I don’t know, but I think God is telling me to “tell Joanne to be patient”. Then I sent my text about falling to my knees and crying out to Him and His response. It was unreal. I really can’t describe it.
  2. After the death of Charlie Kirk, I was caught up in the online craziness and felt so confused. I went outside with my dog that night to let her do her business, and I looked up and said “Lord? I’m so confused. I don’t know what to believe anymore.” He replied with READ YOUR BIBLE. I swear it was all caps too. So I did, and read it daily.
  3. One night, I was out walking my dog, and I was really struggling with life, particularly financial issues, and I just felt so defeated so I cried out to Him.."Give me a break already!” I had a payment that was due in a few days, didn’t have a job, my savings were gone, and I really didn’t know how I was going to pay it, and was just at wits end. The very next morning I’m sifting through my emails, and there’s an email from the loan company. My loan was settled. Done. No more payments. I still had a balance in the $1000’s, but it was settled. I emailed them back to clarify, because I couldn’t believe it, and they responded that yes, it was settled and that if I ever needed a loan again they’d be happy to do business with me. No one had secretly paid it off. It was just…gone. In that moment, it was like the brightest light you could imagine, like a photo bulb, went off in front of my eyes, and the breath was sucked out of me, and my brain did a short circuit.

  2. Two years ago, I needed a place to stay. I prayed for a room somewhere, something I could afford, a place where I would be safe, and be able to have my dog with me. The next day, as I opened up fecesbook marketplace, there was an ad - and it was exactly what I needed. I also needed full time work, so I prayed for it, and an interesting job showed up in my search - a contract courier. I had no idea what that job was, but I applied to it, and they responded the same day. After a few emails back and forth, I was invited in for an interview. I had booked a camping trip for 10 days at the time, and told them I wouldn’t be available for the interview until I got back. No problem. Come in when you get back. I did, and started that job, which I ended up just loving, and met so many great people and made new Christian connections through, the next day.

  4. The most recent move: my beloved dog, my partner in grime (if you knew her you’d understand), my trail buddy, my adventure dog, my bestest goodest girl, died suddenly on Dec 6th, 2024. I was stricken. It still hurts and I miss her so much, but I remember the moment I cried out to Him in my shock and my pain..”why?” That’s all I asked. And He replied “I’m making room”. I said “you’re here! You’re really here!” I immediately grabbed my phone to find a verse of comfort, and right there, in my bible app was the verse of the day. Psalm 34:18 “ The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit”. Boom. Photo bulb going off, my breath being sucked out of my lungs, my brain short circuiting, and my heart filling with joy. I’m holding my dog in my arms and sobbing with joy.
  5. When I was working as a courier, I was having a really rough day one day. It was a bleak fall day, overcast, gloomy, raining and I was crying out to Him..are you there? Can you hear me? Do you love me? I didn’t see it when I drove by the first time because I was going in the wrong direction to see it. I was doing a delivery. When I was returning the way I had come, I saw it. It was on a hill, someone’s property. They had raked their leaves into a giant heart on their lawn, which was a hill. I took a picture of it, and I thanked Him for showing it to me. I smiled all the way back to dispatch.

I have so many more of these, all written down, and shared with many people. I share these experiences with others to encourage them. If God answers me when I cry out, a sinner like me, then He SURELY will answer you.

I don’t believe in coincidence. I never have. Before returning to Christ, when life worked in my favour, I’d say “oh it’s the universe”. No. It isn’t the universe. I’ve corrected a friend who posted something new age like this online, calling it the universe. No. It’s God. Nothing can change my mind on this point. It’s God. Plain and simple. God.

This is a question that touches the heart, and Scripture doesn’t dodge it—it answers it plainly, though not always comfortably for human reasoning.

The Bible consistently teaches that salvation is not based on sincerity, morality, or religious devotion, but on relationship with and obedience to the revealed truth of God in Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). That statement is exclusive by design. He did not say He was one of many ways, but the way. The apostles echoed this clearly: “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Scripture never presents Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, or any other belief system as alternative paths to God. No matter how moral or sincere a person may be, sincerity cannot replace truth. A person can be genuinely devoted and still be genuinely wrong—Paul even said of Israel that they had zeal for God, but not according to knowledge (Romans 10:2).

Good works and moral living are valuable, but they are not what removes sin. The issue is not whether someone tries to be good—it’s whether their sin has been dealt with according to God’s plan. Sin separates humanity from God (Isaiah 59:2), and the only remedy God provided is through Jesus Christ—His death, burial, and resurrection applied to our lives through repentance, baptism in Jesus’ name for the remission of sins, and receiving the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38). This is the consistent pattern throughout the book of Acts. Heaven is not entered by character alone but by new birth (John 3:5).

As for those who have never heard the gospel, Scripture teaches that God is just, fair, and not cruel. Romans 1 explains that God has revealed Himself through creation so that humanity is without excuse for denying His existence. But it also shows that people suppress the truth they do have. Throughout the Bible, whenever someone genuinely sought God with what light they had, God made a way for more truth to reach them—like Cornelius in Acts 10. He feared God and lived morally, yet God still sent Peter to preach the full gospel to him because morality alone was not enough. God ensured he heard the message of Jesus. This shows that God does not condemn people for lack of opportunity—He actively provides truth to those who sincerely seek Him.

At the same time, Scripture never teaches that people are saved apart from Christ simply because they were ignorant or born into another religion. That idea comes more from human emotion than biblical teaching. The Bible’s emphasis is that God reaches, draws, convicts, and reveals Himself, and people are responsible for how they respond to the light they’re given.

So the Christian answer, biblically speaking, is this: salvation is only through Jesus Christ and the new birth He taught. Other religions, no matter how sincere or moral their followers may be, do not provide forgiveness of sin or reconciliation with God. And God, in His justice and mercy, ensures that those who truly hunger for Him are given opportunity to know the truth.

This isn’t about Christians believing they’re better than others—it’s about trusting what God Himself has said about how salvation works. The gospel is not exclusive because God is harsh; it’s exclusive because Jesus is the only cure for sin.

And the beautiful part is this: the invitation is open to everyone. Every nation, every culture, every background. No one is barred from coming to Christ—but everyone must come the same way, through Him.

If the Spirit of Christ Does Not Dwell in You

“Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.”

Scripture does not leave room for a Christianity that exists without the indwelling Spirit. Paul does not present this as a growth issue, a maturity issue, or a denominational distinction. He presents it as an ownership issue. Without the Spirit of Christ dwelling within, a person does not belong to Christ, regardless of how long they have attended church or how familiar they are with religious language.

The modern church has produced a version of Christianity that allows people to sit in a chair, hear sermons, participate in rituals, and still remain unchanged inwardly. This is not the Christianity revealed in the New Testament. Sitting in a church building does not place Christ in you. Repentance spoken without surrender does not place Christ in you. Water baptism, though commanded and necessary, places you into Christ in identification, but it does not cause Christ to dwell in you. Burial is not resurrection.

Jesus Himself stated that except a person is born of water and of the Spirit, they cannot enter the kingdom of God. That statement does not describe spiritual excellence; it defines spiritual entry. Acts 2 confirms this pattern. When conviction fell, Peter did not offer reassurance. He commanded repentance, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and promised the gift of the Holy Ghost. The Spirit was not presented as optional, delayed, or symbolic. He was presented as essential.

The most dangerous deception in the church is the belief that external obedience without internal transformation is sufficient. Scripture never affirms this. A person may be baptized and still not belong to Christ. A person may believe and still lack the indwelling Spirit. Paul is clear: if the Spirit of Christ does not dwell in you, you are not His.

This is not an attack on sincere seekers. It is a warning to those who are comfortable without transformation. The Spirit of Christ convicts, governs, and leads. Where that work is absent, assurance is false. Christianity without the indwelling Spirit is not incomplete Christianity; it is not Christianity at all.

This is the dividing line. Either Christ lives in you by His Spirit, or He does not. There is no middle ground supported by Scripture. This truth will either produce repentance and faith, or it will be rejected by those who never truly wanted God to rule them in the first place.

Neither did any of them declare they were the Way to God. Buddhism does not even have a practice associated with engaging God, as defined by anyone who engages God. Unless you consider “Consciousness” God. Unless you look at God’s Name, I AM, and associate THAT with awareness, consciousness, life energy itself. And some do. Though Buddhism itself, as far as I know, does not make this claim.

Yes, Christ is the Doorway. But a door is not the destination. It is only the entrance way to someplace new. You are not meant to get stuck in the doorway but to keep moving forward toward the Father, to have a relationship with the Father. Yes, Christ is the Son of God, the Only Begotten, but He is not meant to be the last. You are to be transformed into a Son or Daughter of God yourself.

So in this, with Christ being a Door, He is like every other Prophet, Wise Man or Woman, who points to something greater than themselves. Christ, Who subjected Himself to the Father’s Will, points you to the Father. But people get stuck on the Person, the Material World, the finger that points, rather than learning the Wisdom that person has to share and letting that Wisdom inhabit them.

Look at that which is greater than yourself and be transformed by it. Rather than staying small, living a small life, thinking small thoughts, and moved to do nothing great or good for this world or your fellow man, or those you love.

Again, a doorway is not a destination. Only an entrance. Which means nothing if you choose not to enter, to move forward, and be transformed.

But as I have said in the past, cultures change, evolve, hopefully for the better. Which is why the laws of the past tend to stop making sense after enough time. Though sometimes it looks like we must take a few steps backwards into darkness to figure that out, and suffer the cost for being selfish and destructive, in order to pursue the light again. Only when we take responsibility for that hatred in our own hearts, @PeterC , do we really begin to do what God wants us to do. Christ can always help a person with that, if they ask.

Let me attempt to do it in a way that you might understand-

Unmastered Anger is tied to sin here. Specifically, Murder. Anger led Cain to kill his brother. God warned beforehand that Cain needed to Master it, and sin, so that sin would not take advantage of it. (In Christian terms, ANGER was “inside the cup." By that spirit of Anger, Cain killed his brother.)

I am associating your remark about Mohammad (being a pedophile) as being a sign that darkness (untamed anger, a murderous spirit), is overflowing from your own heart. If Christ was overflowing from your heart, you would not be digging into others. Your goal would not be to push people away from Christ but to draw them closer. By making that remark, you have disrespected Arabian people and people of the Muslim faith, making Christ look bad. Because if you are an example of Christ in this world, and you behave that way, why would they ever care to hear the Gospel about Christ from anyone. I never said you could get to God without Christ, or “God.” And I never said Christ was not the Son of God. you are drawing at straws. I said you were supposed to keep moving forward and grow. Not stand in the doorway and keep other people out.

@bdavidc I love truth and the many fascinating ways in which it can be told. I must say, I spittle a little reading this. You said it from the start. We are to try, to test, the spirits and see whether they are of God. The spirits, the words proceeding out of the mouth of man. We listen and we’ll have what is truly confessed.

I see that rational thinking has been tossed out. You see @PeterC ‘s remark as being a sign of darkness, untamed anger and a murderous spirit because he called, this man, what he was based on what he did. Well, he said he did it. The little girl who I refuse to call his wife said he did it. Ridiculous really that you see this man of God as having darkness, untamed anger, and a murderous spirit for telling the truth base on evidence written in the Islamic books, when it is Muhammad that was anti-Christ and a false prophet. Whether it was one or many any of our ancestors, they too would be classified as a pedophile.

Okay, so I am not talking to a believer of Christ. I had not read this before reading further down. To those of us who believe, Christ is not “a door”, he is THE DOOR. Meaning that there is only one. Your likes, acceptance, or disapproval of this truth won’t change it. The Father is God, Jesus is God, and the Holy Spirit, well he is God too. And No! Muhammad was not the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is of God, as in, IS GOD. There was nothing as in no thing holy about muhammad. For deceived people to raise him above the Lord Jesus, who is the Word of God, that preceeded out of the mouth of God when he spoke in the beginning and said, “Let there be…” He it is (because he is alive, unlike the false prophet muhammad) it is this Jesus that created all things! Oh, yeah and it is this Jesus that God the Father rose from the dead with ALL POWER!

Yes, Jesus, the Son of man who came to show us the way, subjected the will of the natural man to the will of his spirit, which was to do the will of the Father. Likewise, we are to yield our will to be that of the Father’s.

And in case you didn’t know, no man took the life of Christ. He laid down his life for me and all believers, and he picked it up again, for me and all believers. So, we are “stuck on the Person” that is Jesus the Christ.

Yes, Jesus pointed us to the Father, if by this you mean he showed us the Father’s love.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

You can’t even be gifted with the wisdom of Christ without going through the door. You knowing him and He knowing you only happens when you are in Him and He is in you. That is the fellowship. That is the intimacy of every believer that has the indwelling of the Spirit of God.

Lastly you speak again of a door(way). We have no interest in a doorway which there are many. We seek to tell people about THE DOOR, that is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE.
